Took Amanda to Top of the Rock for her birthday today. It is so beautiful to see New York City at night.

Katie & Kenneth’s Wedding - September 29, 2007
Since we had to go photograph Katie & Kenneth’s wedding in Aruba. We decided to spend an extra day or two as our mini vacation. Most likely it was our last vacation before the birth of our child.
Katie & Kenneth’s wedding were very beautiful. Watching the sunset go down as they both enter a new beginning together as one. It was an honor to photograph them as well as able to witness such an important event. I’ve known the both of them for many years now. I still remember when Kenneth was a little kid. It was beautiful and very special to be part of. Thank you.

Etsuko & Edwin's Wedding - September 22, 2007
Before finding out Amanda was pregnant, I did booked two weddings for this month. For sure it wasn’t easy to have her help me. I do thank her very much for it. She did a great job as usual.
This wedding was referred to me by my good friend Billy. Check out some of his work on his website at http://engphotography.blogspot.com, he’s pretty good working with his camera too. Anyway, the wedding was very nice and we had a great time. The Filipino do know how to dance and party.

San Francisco Trip
Adding Amanda into the Lo family just wasn’t enough, so my brother Kam decided to add his girlfriend Ellen into the Lo Family on July 7, 2007. We didn’t get to go to their wedding, because we were on our honeymoon. They flew to Hawaii by themselves and got married there. He wanted us to go to take pictures for them. He was even gonna pay for us too, but our tripped were already paid. It would cost us too much to cancel at this point in time. We did join those two newlywed 7 days later in San Francisco with her side of the family for a small celebration. It was very nice to see him so happy.
At the same time, shortly after we returned from Mexico, we found out that the Lo’s will have another addition into the family. :-D That’s right… Amanda is pregnant. WOOHOO!!! We didn’t tell anyone until a week after returning from SF. We didn’t want to take the happy moment away from my brother and my new sister in law.

Our Honeymoon in Mexico
Because Amanda is a NYC school teacher, asking for one week vacation during the school season just isn’t easy. That’s pretty much why we got married in April, during the Easter break. We decided to go to Playa de Carmen, Riviera Maya in Mexico for our honeymoon. The resort we stayed at was Occidental Grand Xcaret Hotel & Resort. This resort is right next to the Xcaret Eco Theme Park. That was the main reason why we decided to pick this resort. We had an awesome time. We ate and drink. Then we ate more and drank even more. We were having so much fun that we decided to buy a studio with this resort so we have a place to stay when we returned. :-D
Here are some of the photos and places we visited besides being in the resort.
We can’t wait to go back next year

Jon-Karlo's Christening & 1st birthday
I had the honor to photograph and witness a very beautiful event. Jon-Karlo's mom, Juanita is my co-worker, supervisior and like a older sister to me. I've known her for 20+ years. A great friend.
One the same day, after the Christening, we went to celebrate Jon-Karlo One year birthday. There were so many little kids running around. It was a fun event. Happy Birthday Jon-Karlo!!

Bronx Zoo
I haven’t been to the Bronx Zoo since I was a teenager. That’s like over 20 years ago. Since Amanda is a member and we can get in for free. We decided to take a trip up there. Plus I wanted to use the Canon EF-70-200 f2.8 IS L lense that I don’t use much. I don’t remember what the Zoo was like when I was a kid. But this place is amazing. I didn’t know what I missing until I was done seeing everything and looking back at the photos. WOW is all I can say. Its like being in the jungle, but you’re not. Thanks Amanda for making me go with you. That’s why I married you. She keeps me interested in things.

Being a Tourist in Niagara Fall
One of the reasons why we wanted to get married here is because this was the place we had our first vacation together. We also wanted to pick a place where friends and families can also enjoy the town and not just be here for our wedding. Amanda and I were very happy and excited to see so many of our friends who made it up there, especially our good friends, Mandy and Justin who drove all the way from Atlanta Georgia. You guys Rock! Oh and of course I can’t forget the three lovely ladies, Nitza, Sibel and Sabrina who also drove from New York City. Thank you for helping us with the setups and everything else. You ladies also ROCK as well.

Shing & May's Wedding - 1/6/2007
Amanda and I had the honor to photographed one of my best friend Shing & May's wedding. It was a very long day for the both of us. But the end result were totally awesome. Beginning of January, we got 70 degree weather in New York City. How crazy is that?!. Amanda did an amazing job photographing the Bride while she was getting herself ready. It was Amanda first time witnessing a traditional Chinese wedding ceremony. Here's a few photos for you to check out.
