Many times I’ve been asked what camera I am using. Do you have this camera? Why didn’t you get this instead? …and blah blah blah. So I have decided to put that in writing to tell you what I have and why, plus as my age is getting older, I am beginning to forget certain things.

I have used a lot of lenses in the past. Most I have sold and some were broken. Here is a list of my current lenses.
Lense
Sigma 10-20mm f4-5.6
Canon EF-S 17-55mm f2.8 IS
Canon EF 24-105mm f4 L IS
Canon EF 70-200mm f2.8 L IS
Sigma 30mm f1.4 EX DC HSM
Canon EF 50mm f1.4
Kenko Extension Tube set (12, 24, 36)

Canon EX580 II
Your question is why do I have the 1.6 cropped body (40D) and not a full frame like the Canon 5D or even the latest 1N Mark III. Well the answer is I can not afford it. If I have those cameras, am I going to get better pictures? Of course I will. As a matter of fact, the Canon 5D’s color is just amazing. But my 40D can give me what I want as well. So as long as I can product what I want and better, I really have no need for anything better or expensive at this time. Will I ever buy a full frame camera? Yes, when the time is right. Plus I have a baby to worry about right now. Diapers aren’t cheap.
Thank you.
